Laura Salguero

Through her work, she proposes a need to generate spaces for hybrid dialogues in which to deepen the debate on, and shape, the Anthropocene story from a non-human point of view, through a combination of science, fiction and art.

Laura Salguero (León, 1987) carries out research that questions the monopoly of reason as the only way of generating knowledge. She explores points of view different from the current anthropocentrism that affect ecological awareness, opening up the range of possible forms of coexistence and ways of relating to our environment. Her exhibitions include those held at the ATC Gallery (Tenerife), La Gran Gallery (Valladolid), MUVa (Valladolid), Centro Leonés de Arte (León), Melting Point (Valencia) and La Atómica (Valladolid). His works belong to the collections of the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León (Musac) and the Instituto Leonés de Cultura (ILC).
