Internacional constructivista frente a Internacional Surrealista

The present publication is a compilation of the texts corresponding to the conferences given in the course "gaceta de arte y su época (1932-1936)", which took place in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in May and June 1997. The realization of this course in Tenerife, derived from a proposal by Martin Chirino, director of the Atlantic Center of Modern Art, which produced the exhibition of the same name in collaboration with the Government of the Canary Islands, curated by Emmanuel Guijón. It would thus become a tribute to the magazine published on the island, gaceta de arte, and was therefore taken up by the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, as a project linked to the Oscar Domínguez Institute.
